General Services Administrator Assistant
This is a responsible administrative – secretarial work position in the General Services Administrators Department. Must be strong and knowledgeable in many aspects of organizational and operational process and be able to relieve the General Services Administrator of routine administrative duties. This position is responsible for the timely production of variety of projects as assigned. The work requires considerable familiarity with municipality administration and financial practices, analysis, procedures, public relations, multi-tasking and strong computer skills. Work must be executed with confidentiality, minimum supervision and with exercise of independent judgment.
Requirements are a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three year’s experience in administrative duties; or a comparable amount of training, education or experience can be substituted for the minimum qualifications. Salary commensurate with experience and the hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
