The General Service Administrator reports directly to the City Manager. This department is responsible for the daily implementation of Roads and Streets, Facility Services, Cemetery and Solid Waste. It also oversees the rental of the Newberry Municipal Building. The Administrator coordinates development activities, GIS Mapping, city reports, and provides staff assistance for the City of Newberry. The General Service Administrator coordinates the staff on daily activities and insures the safety and welfare within the City of Newberry.

Connie Goode has been employed by the City of Newberry since 1999. Before coming to Newberry, Mrs. Goode worked as an Administrative Assistant for over twenty years.
As the administrator of the building department Ms. Goode coordinates and supervises the efforts of the department; builds and executes the department budget.
