The Newberry Garden Club welcomes new members to our groups. We meet on the 2nd Tues. of each month from Sept. to May. We have interesting programs and social times at each meeting. Members share plants and ideas to help you with gardening. We have 2 fund raisers each year. A dessert social in the fall, and a plant sale in the spring help raise funds for scholarships to local students. Projects include: State Road – 26 Adopt – Highway program, wildflower planting in medians, scholarships for NHS students attending FCC and a Caladium Bulb sale each spring. Meetings are held at the Municipal Building at 9:30 A.M. and at 6:30 P.M. You may call Linda Woodcock at (352) 472-2440 for more information.
