Newberry Parks & Recreation operates year round and attracts over 100,000 people annually. Many tournaments, events, and leagues will be hosted at our sites this next year with an expected attendance of over 800 teams participating. National, State and Invitational adult and youth tournaments and events are played at the Newberry Parks & Recreation Facilities.
Parks and Recreation Director, Richard Blalock, came to the City of Newberry in 2002 with over 25 years experience in recreation. He currently serves as the Sunshine State Games Baseball,Basketball and Senior Basketball Director and is involved with many other sports organizations.
