2023 Historic Resource Survey

The City of Newberry, through the assistance of a small matching grant from the Florida Division of Historic Resources, has updated its historic resource survey. This document is a compendium of historic properties that documents their architectural typology, character, craftsmanship, age, and other intangible assets such as association with historic events, people, and other cultural or societal significance. Below are links to the 2023 Historic Resource Survey Report, the Florida Master Site Files associated with this report (available upon request), and the 2011 Historic Resource Survey.

The survey was completed by Christine Leggio, Senior Architectural Historian, and Elisabeth Price, Architectural Historian, of Johnson, Mirmiran, and Thompson.
