City Offices Closed for Christmas and New Year's Holidays

Other than emergency services, all City of Newberry government offices will be closed on Monday December 26th, 2022, and Monday, January 2, 2023, in observance of the holidays.

Customers wishing to make a bill payment over the holidays may do so through the City’s telephone system at 352-472-2161 or online (click here). As always you can contact us 24/7 for any needs at 352-472-2161 ext 1 or by using the Newberry FL Connect app (click here). Outages may be reported online (click here) or over the phone. 

Garbage and Recycling Collection:

Residential curbside collection service for solid waste, recycling, and yard trash will not operate on December 26 or January 2. Therefore, collection services for those weeks is delayed by one day. Monday's collection will occur on Tuesday, Tuesday's collection will occur on Wednesday, Wednesday's collection will occur on Thursday, Thursday's collection will occur on Friday, and Friday's collection will occur on Saturday.

The regular collection schedule will resume on Monday, January 9th, 2023.
