City Offices Closed for Memorial Day

Other than emergency services, all City of Newberry government offices will be closed on Monday, May 30th, in observance of Memorial Day. 

Customers wishing to make a bill payment over the holiday may do so through the City’s telephone system at 352-472-2161 or online (click here). As always you can contact us 24/7 for any needs at 352-472-2161 or by using the Newberry FL Connect app. Outages may be reported online (click here) or over the phone. 

Garbage and Recycling Collection:

The holiday will affect curbside residential solid waste and recycling collection services scheduled for Monday (May 30th), in the Newberry curbside collection area. Services will be delayed by one day. Monday's collection will occur on Tuesday, Tuesday's collection will occur on Wednesday, Wednesday's collection will occur on Thursday, Thursday's collection will occur on Friday, and Friday's collection will occur on Saturday.

The regular collection schedule will resume on Monday, June 6th, 2022.
