  • Limit of 6 tires per customer

Household Hazardous Waste Collection | Saturday, March 19th, 8:00 am - 2:00 pm

Alachua County Protection Department is sponsoring a project to collect, recycle, treat, and properly dispose of the following hazardous wastes:

  • Pesticides
  • Paint thinners
  • Radiator fluid
  • Used oil/lubricants
  • Oil filters
  • Insecticides
  • Stale gasoline
  • Fluorescent lamps
  • Electronics
  • Solvents
  • Paints
  • Batteries  - all types
  • Fertilizers
  • Household cleaners
  • Pool chemicals
  • Computers
  • TVs
  • Flares/ammunition
  • Corrosives
  • Propane tanks
  • Prescriptions & medicine
  • Aerosol cans.

This is a free service to area residents.

Limb & Yard Debris Amnesty | Monday, March 21st through Thursday, March 24th, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm.

All yard waste must be curbside by Sunday, March 20th as collection will being Monday, March 21st

  • Leaves must be in paper disposable leaf bags. No plastic bags.
  • Please place all yard waste 5ft off the road for pick up by staff.
